Their next little step, with Orvane

Reusable potty-training pants for the transition from nappies to ordinary underwear. An easy pull-on design helps your little one practise pulling up and down, at their own pace.

Wash, reuse and keep a fresh pair ready for the next try. Backed by our 60-day satisfaction guarantee.

How does it actually work?

Most nappies keep children completely dry, so they don’t learn to recognise when they’re wet. Regular underwear, on the other hand, can lead to messy accidents that quickly become frustrating for parents.

Orvane uses a 3-layer absorbent system designed to let your child feel just enough moisture to recognise what’s happening, while helping prevent leaks onto clothes and furniture.

The 3-layer Feel to Learn™ system:

The soft cotton inner layer allows your child to notice the feeling of wetness, helping them make the connection between their body’s signals and going to the potty.

The absorbent middle layer helps hold up to 3 times more liquid than ordinary underwear, while the water-resistant outer layer helps contain little accidents without removing the learning sensation.

What many families experience:

Week 1: Your child starts recognising the feeling of being wet with fewer messy accidents.
Weeks 2–3: More attempts to use the potty and fewer accidents.
Week 4+: Regular potty use begins to feel more natural.

In short: disposable nappies can keep children too dry to notice what’s happening, while ordinary underwear can create unnecessary mess. The Feel to Learn™ Method is designed to give your child the feedback they need while making the transition easier for parents.

What age can my child start using Orvane?

Orvane is designed for children from around 18 months, once they begin showing signs of potty-training readiness — such as showing interest in the potty, staying dry for up to 2 hours, or letting you know when their nappy is wet.

Size S starts from 8 kg.

Potty training often begins between 24 and 32 months, but every child develops at their own pace. Grandi is designed to support your child throughout the process, with sizes available up to around 6 years old (XL).

How many pairs should I have?

Our recommendation for most parents: keep at least 2 clean pairs in your changing bag and another 2 with your childminder or nursery. That way, you always have a spare ready on trickier days.

And remember: Orvane training pants are reusable. They’re designed to support your child throughout potty training, then simply go in the wash ready for the next wear.

Which size should I choose?

Choose based on your child’s weight. Our sizing is designed around real toddler body shapes.

S: 3–9 kg
M: 10–16 kg
L: 17–25 kg

If your child is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Every order is covered by our 60-day size guarantee. If the size isn’t right, we’ll exchange it for you free of charge.

How should I wash the training pants?

After use, rinse the pants in cold water, then machine wash at 30°C.

Avoid fabric softener, as it can reduce absorbency, and do not tumble dry on high heat.

For best results, air dry naturally.

What about poo accidents?

No need to worry. If there’s a solid accident, simply tip it into the toilet.

Give the training pants a quick rinse in cold water, then wash them in the machine with the rest of your laundry.

For messier accidents, a quick rinse before washing is usually enough.

For the best protection, make sure you’ve chosen the correct size. The training pants should fit snugly around the thighs without feeling too tight.

Did you know? Our training pants are PFAS-free and made without harmful chemicals, giving you extra peace of mind for your child.

Adoptez la meilleure alternative aux couches jetables avec la culotte d'apprentissage Grandi, la méthode idéale pour déclencher le déclic de la propreté chez votre enfant en seulement 15 jours.

Little Pants. Big Steps.

Finally something that actually works for us! The fabric is really soft against his skin, we haven’t had any leaks and it’s so much cheaper than disposable nappies. My son was potty trained in just 2 weeks, I still can’t believe it!

We’d tried everything but nothing worked. These pants were the turning point: she finally understood what “going on the potty” meant. She made the connection herself, which never happened with disposable nappies because she couldn’t feel anything.

Audrey L.

Leeds

He’s always hated being wet but couldn’t have cared less while he was wearing nappies. As soon as we switched to these pants he started telling us when he needed to go. Something finally clicked and now he’s fully potty trained!

Marine C.

Liverpool

The prints are lovely and they wash well. My only little gripe is I’d love more designs to choose from my daughter insists on wearing the same favourite pair!

Caroline T.

Oxford

I got 5 pairs for my daughter. She wore them to nursery on Monday with some spares. The nursery staff were really pleased little accidents were contained and no soaking wet clothes. By the second week no more accidents. She’s so proud of herself.

Alison C.

Selby

Perfect honestly nothing else to say we’d been struggling with potty training for ages my daughter is 3 and a half and I was getting really worried these were my last resort and after 2 days she was asking for the potty she had one accident one day but nothing since should have got them much sooner

He puts them on himself and he’s so proud

My son’s 2 and a half and he’s been putting them on himself from the start. To him they’re big boy pants not a nappy and it completely changes how he feels about potty training. Things have been much calmer since we stopped using pull-ups.

Brilliant customer service with the size exchange

I ordered the wrong size my mistake. I contacted customer service explaining what happened and they sorted it quickly without giving me a lecture about getting it wrong. Sounds silly but little things like that really make a difference.

Amazed at how they held up with the first accident

First accident in these pants yesterday and honestly I was stressed. The outside was completely dry. Wasn’t expecting that much. Plus my daughter asks for her star pants every morning so potty training is actually happening in a good mood for once.
